Wollaton House is just a short drive from Nottingahm City Centre and enjoys easy access to both junctions 25 and 26 of the M1 Motorway.
Nottingahm University, The Queens Medical Centre and Boots are all within easy reach of the nursery.
Wollaton House participates in the nursery education grant scheme for three to four year old children. Parents can also make savings on fees by using childcare vouchers. A qualified infant teacher implements our carefully structured pre-school syllabus.
Aims and Objectives
At Wollaton House Day Nursery it is our aim to provide a safe and secure environment for the children to grow and develop to thier full potential. Along with the foundation stage we aim to provide a high standard of education with a qualified infant teacher.
Our overall objective for the nursery is that the children leave us to go to school with confidence and a positive self image and identity.
Use of Space
At Wollaton House Day Nursery we feel that the children should not be restricted to any one area and should be allowed access to all areas throughout the day. With this in mind the pre-school children have access to all areas of the downstairs throughout the day. This includes the main room, quiet room, home corner, craft room and conservatory.
Each of the rooms are designed to extend the children's development in a different and fun way. The children also have the opportunity to play outside at certain periods of the day, therefore we have a wide selection of outside toys and equipment.
